Why would you start from scratch when it's so simple to use PLR.me content?
0:10
Hey, there, it's Richard Butler here,
0:13
director of education at PLR.me.
0:16
One question I hear a lot is how do I change the content?
0:21
So it's not the same as somebody else's content, or sometimes the question is,
0:26
I don't know what to do with your content. Now.
0:30
I love the honesty of that last question.
0:32
And it is something that many people either ask or are afraid to
0:37
ask. So in this video,
0:38
I'm going to show you how to take the content and transform it into something
0:42
unique, using a very simple process. Now, before we get into the video,
0:47
if this is your first time here, well welcome.
0:49
It's great to see you make sure that you click that subscribe button and click
0:54
the notification bell.
0:55
So that you're the first to know about our free training videos. You know,
1:00
sometimes I think articles never really fulfill their full potential.
1:05
I mean, these little guys have so much to give,
1:07
but many people just think of them as a simple blog post or an article,
1:11
and they can be so much more and you'll see how in this and other
1:16
videos,
1:17
let me tell you what I decided to do to show that any article could be used by
1:22
nearly any niche. And in so many ways,
1:24
I decided to look for something a little bit different than what my niche would
1:28
normally use. Oh, what's my niche. Well, it's English language mentoring.
1:33
It's just one of my niches. And I looked into the plr.me resource library.
1:37
I found this article talk 10 motivational affirmations. I mean, this will work,
1:42
grow rate with my personal development coaching clients,
1:45
but could it be possible to actually use this with my English mentoring clients?
1:50
I mean, like they're all executives and managers and not into woo stuff. Well,
1:54
challenge accept it.
1:56
Now let's move over to the computer and I'm gonna show you the process that I
1:59
use. So here we are at the computer.
2:01
And the first thing I do it was I opened up the original document
2:06
from plr.me and you'll see its top 10 motivational affirmations.
2:11
And it is very much a self-help document,
2:14
but I wanted to change this into something that my audience of English
2:19
mentoring students would actually appreciate.
2:22
I would actually help them cuz obviously that's important.
2:24
I wanna make sure that I help them in their journey to speak more confidently.
2:28
Now,
2:29
the first thing I wanted to make sure is that I had a good definition of who my
2:32
market were. You know, I knew that from having taught in this market for many,
2:37
many years,
2:37
that these were people who had reached like a plateau in their English learning
2:42
and they didn't know how to go the next level because well they had certain pain
2:46
points.
2:47
So then I wanted to identify what the pain points were for these students.
2:52
And, and what exactly were they struggling with?
2:54
I then read through the article to get a very good feel for the article to know
2:58
what it was about, to know the language that was being used.
3:02
And one of the things that I, that I realize and as, um,
3:05
somebody who has largely second language is that sometimes we lack confidence
3:09
when we speak because we have this like voice in our head that is so ly telling
3:13
us that we're not going to speak correctly or we're gonna make a mistake or are
3:18
just gonna mess up in general. So reading through the article a second time,
3:22
I looked at the first sentence and I went, boom,
3:26
that's exactly what I need. Let's have a look,
3:29
are your negative internal dialogues,
3:31
keeping you from doing the things that you want to do.
3:34
BA that is just what is happening to a lot of my students.
3:39
They're not feeling confident in moving to the next level of speaking out at
3:43
meetings,
3:44
maybe going to a job interview because they just don't have the confidence.
3:48
So how could this article help them? Well,
3:50
I went over and I started to write up some headings that I thought were
3:54
important. So before I actually started writing,
3:57
I took the original article title. Then I made three headings,
4:01
target market challenges and new article titles.
4:04
So let me show you what I came up with.
4:12
So I filled in the details and my target market,
4:15
Spanish speakers who have a B one to C one level language,
4:18
but struggle with confidence.
4:19
So let means that they're upper intermediate to advanced students.
4:24
And what are the challenges? Well,
4:25
a lack of confidence in speaking native happens to me in Spanish,
4:30
never remembering the right structures are tenses happens to me in Spanish.
4:34
I talk about something that I did in the future.
4:36
And people look at me translating from Spanish to English.
4:39
This is huge issue that when you become fluent in the language and you think in
4:44
the language and you don't translate.
4:46
And I love the challenge that they had was afraid to take a chance.
4:49
So I knew my target market.
4:51
I knew the challenges now I wanted to make this article not sound
4:56
a little bit. Woo, woo <laugh>. I love self development and I love woo stuff,
5:01
but you know, as much as I do that,
5:03
sometimes depending on the market that you're dealing with,
5:06
you have to slightly change the content so that it doesn't sound too. Woo. Woo.
5:11
It seems to be the phrase of the video.
5:13
So the new article titles I came up with,
5:15
these had to be catchy and people in 10 phrases that will change how you speak
5:19
English, 10 simple phrases that will improve your English,
5:22
become more confident in English with these 10 phrases,
5:26
10 phrases to be a more confident English speaker. And I couldn't think of a,
5:31
a fifth one here. So let me get rid of that bullet point.
5:33
So the idea here was it was not 10 affirmations to make you
5:38
a better English speaker. No, no, no. It was 10 phrases are gonna help you.
5:42
So I dunno what these phrases are as a, as a reader,
5:46
but I'm quite intrigued now. I decided I would rewrite the article.
5:50
So I went back to the original article. I have it here, I read it again.
5:55
And then I wrote from the heart I wrote from my experiences.
6:00
So the article looks nothing like the original, but all the ideas are there.
6:04
Okay. Now remember the more you write from the heart,
6:07
the better and PL at me is there to help you just write faster
6:12
and give you the ideas to get you going.
6:15
So this is the article that I wrote and I decided to go with the title 10
6:19
phrases that will change how you speak English.
6:21
That is gonna catch my attention because I'm thinking, well,
6:24
what are these 10 phrases?
6:25
So I wrote out the article and then I added a little bit of bolding. Okay.
6:30
I know the struggles. You don't mind making mistakes, a few bullet of points.
6:34
Um, a few headings here. Okay.
6:37
Now then I started to introduce about positive affirmations.
6:43
And then I said, these are the 10 affirmations that you're gonna use.
6:48
I'm comfortable speaking English. I may not have a native accent,
6:50
but I speak clearly. Let's just go back and look at the affirmations. Well,
6:54
they are completely different. Well,
6:57
this is the beauty of the PLR at me content that I was able to use it,
7:02
to spark my imagination and to get the creative juices flowing.
7:07
So then I thought, well, why not make this a little bit more personal?
7:10
And I'll put a picture in on myself, but I still wasn't happy.
7:13
So I went in and I decided let's make this into two columns.
7:18
So this is really easy to and remember actually,
7:21
well remember now I forgot to tell you, I'm just using Google docs here.
7:24
I'm not using any special, um, programs. I'm not using word.
7:28
I'm not using pages, which of course I could,
7:31
but I'm just using Google docs, which is free. So I went to format,
7:36
I went to columns and I said, put this into two columns.
7:39
So now it looks a lot more interesting. Now it looks like upper article. Can I,
7:44
can I say that?
7:45
And the last thing that I did down here was I put in a call to action.
7:50
Okay. Now that you've read this now that you know how to fill a little bit more
7:55
confident, why not go and test your level.
7:57
This is a lead generation to tool because they must register their name and
8:00
email address. So what was the purpose of the article to educate,
8:05
but also as a lead generation tool, if I'm honest with you,
8:08
the whole process probably took about 45 minutes from reading the article, uh,
8:11
coming up with my ideas,
8:12
writing from the heart and then doing a little bit of formatting.
8:16
But if I had to write this whole article from scratch without the help of PLR.me
8:21
it probably would've taken me days or in fact I probably would never have done it.
8:25
So you see how you can take the article and change it completely now.
8:30
Um, I forgot one very important thing if you're enjoying this video and you've
8:33
watched it to this point, but then I think you should give us a, like,
8:36
you should subscribe to the channel and you should ask any questions you may
8:40
have below that. Uh, I will, of course answer for you. So in the next video,
8:45
I'm gonna show you how I took this article and actually made a video about it.
8:49
SHOW MORE
Sounds interesting. Right? All right. See, in the next video.
