{"id":11470,"date":"2012-07-06T09:02:23","date_gmt":"2012-07-06T13:02:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.plr.me\/?p=11470"},"modified":"2025-12-16T14:57:37","modified_gmt":"2025-12-16T22:57:37","slug":"critical-pillars-for-online-marketing-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.plr.me\/blog\/critical-pillars-for-online-marketing-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Two critical pillars for online marketing success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday I told you about how I got my start online via affiliate marketing (selling other people&#8217;s stuff for a commission).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Today is all about the HOW&#8230;\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How did I become a six figure affiliate marketer?<\/p>\n<p>For my &#8220;CD Burning&#8221; niche site, I tried all sorts of different things to stand out:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Podcast (long before it was ever called a podcast)<\/li>\n<li>Swag giveaways<\/li>\n<li>Pros &amp; cons product reviews<\/li>\n<li>How-to text tutorials (long before YouTube existed!)<\/li>\n<li>Sending out an email newsletter with tips\/tricks<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&#8230; and so on.<\/p>\n<p><em>Guess what?<br \/>\n<\/em><strong>They all WORKED.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These little things got me noticed, and built a solid,\u00a0trustworthy reputation with my prospects.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>REASON<\/strong> it worked was I made the commitment to do\u00a0these little things <strong>REGULARLY.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And these &#8220;little things&#8221; all boil down to <strong>ADDING VALUE<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>to the buying experience<\/strong> in some way.<\/p>\n<p>Simple, right?<\/p>\n<p><strong>SO WHY DON&#8217;T WE DO IT!?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Good question. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Well, I have a theory&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><em> &#8220;OVER-THINKING makes DOING difficult.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s what I mean&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We like to THINK that online &#8220;selling&#8221; is a lot harder than what it is. That way, if we fail, we can just say that &#8220;it&#8217;s too hard&#8221; and give up.<\/p>\n<p>Because if it were easy, we would&#8217;ve done it already&#8230;<br \/>\n&#8230;and been successful, <em>right?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the same story with every challenge we face, whether it&#8217;s shedding pounds, finding a mate, finishing school, or whatever.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The mountain ALWAYS appears larger in our minds,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>than during the journey.<\/strong> So we&#8217;re defeated before we take our first step.<\/p>\n<p>Being a successful affiliate marketer, product creator,\u00a0life coach, or whatever boils down to two things:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. MASTERING YOUR MIND.<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 &#8211; Start thinking that you CAN (and will)<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. MAKING A COMMITMENT.<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 &#8211; Commit to doing LITTLE things regularly.<\/p>\n<p>So back to affiliate marketing&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>When I first started, I worked HARD, and I set &#8220;little&#8221; goals like:<\/p>\n<p>a) &#8220;Record a podcast today&#8221;<br \/>\nb) &#8220;Write a product review of product X tomorrow&#8221;<br \/>\nc) &#8220;Email my list the day after that&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>These little daily commitments grew to become\u00a0BIG DEALS as business grew.<\/p>\n<p>So, <strong>how can YOU add value to the buying experience?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What will you DO to get noticed and get the sale?<\/p>\n<p>To your success,<\/p>\n<p>Ronnie Nijmeh<br \/>\nPLR.me<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday I told you about how I got my start online via affiliate marketing (selling other people&#8217;s stuff for a commission).
