I want to share a story with you that\u00a0I’ve never revealed before.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This all began over a decade ago.<\/p>\n

You see… I got my start online in 1999\u00a0selling other people’s stuff.<\/em><\/p>\n

My best-seller was a DVD movie backup app called “DVD X Copy”\u00a0that I was selling as an affiliate — you may have heard of it,\u00a0it was INSANELY popular.<\/p>\n

The commissions were great – $50-100 a sale – and\u00a0it was\u00a0<\/strong>as easy as selling candy to starving kids.<\/strong>\u00a0The buzz\u00a0around the product was massive. And it was earning me\u00a0literally thousands of dollars every month.
\nI was one of their TOP affiliates… I had my own\u00a0affiliate manager and everything was like a\u00a0dream.<\/em><\/p>\n

But even sweet dreams can turn\u00a0SOUR.<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

You see… the movie studios don’t exactly like the idea\u00a0of people copying DVDs, so they sued the company. (Duh!)<\/p>\n

A few months later, the legal bills piled up and the\u00a0company went BANKRUPT.<\/p>\n

Literally overnight, the\u00a0thousands of dollars of unpaid\u00a0<\/strong>commissions over the last two months went poof.\u00a0<\/strong>
\nI was never paid, and I knew I never will be.<\/p>\n

That’s life in\u00a0affiliate world:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The product owner is\u00a0KING<\/strong>…
\n…and the affiliate has\u00a0ZERO CONTROL\u00a0<\/strong>
\nAND ALL THE RISK.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don’t get me wrong… affiliate marketing is VERY\u00a0lucrative. And I’ve never stopped promoting other\u00a0people’s stuff. No way.<\/p>\n

BUT –!<\/strong><\/p>\n

I had a BIG realization…<\/strong>\u00a0If I wanted to REALLY survive\u00a0online, I needed to smarten up.<\/p>\n

No more relying on products I had no control over…<\/p>\n

I needed my OWN product.\u00a0<\/strong>
\nPronto.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That was one of the major catalysts for creating my own\u00a0publishing business. Creating info products that I can\u00a0sell as my own… then leveraging the power of affiliates\u00a0to help spread the word.<\/p>\n

I was now\u00a0KING.<\/strong>
\nAnd you can be too…\u00a0<\/strong>with your own product.<\/p>\n
