Private Label Rights - PLR FAQ

When you purchase a product with "private label rights" (PLR) you are purchasing the right to "brand" the product with your name or business as if you had created the product. And you can do this without paying any royalties or fees -- you're free to do as you wish!

Great question requires a great answer.

Here's the deal:

Firstly, unlike other PLR providers, we don't sell the content to "thousands" of people. We cap the maximum number of members at 500. That's it.

Each month the content expires, meaning you won't be able to access any content except for the current month's content. So the content is restricted. If a member wants any content from the back catalog, they'd have to pay to gain access.

In a previous Mastermind call, we talked about SEO and how to optimize your site. One of the things that was discussed was that "off-page" duplicate content doesn't really matter. It's the ON-page kind that causes sites to get demoted or delisted from Google.

So that means that if you have the same title tag and content across a number of pages, it can really harm your site.

Now, if you have the same article on your site that others have, it doesn't really matter much. If you think about it from a news perspective, how many times do you see the same news story that's syndicated across the various online news sites or newspaper sites? Obviously nothing happens there.

Of course, if you're concerned about any penalty, we always recommend changing the title of the article and at least the first couple of paragraphs. Or you can add your own commentary relating it back to your business, where possible.

Will you get "better" search results if the content was unique, potentially. But remember that not all members use the content the same. Some create videos out of it. Others use them in members areas or within email auto-responders (which Google won't ever "see"). So my best advice would be to use, re-use, then recycle the content in many ways so you really get the greatest value.
