The REAL Story of Aspiring Internet Marketers
I've made a discovery.
After coaching hundreds of entrepreneurs at all levels, creating dozens of sites from scratch, and helping my clients develop rock-solid USPs and sales funnels...
I've discovered that there are THREE types of marketers:
- The Average 90%
- The Above-Average 9%
- The ULTIMATE 1%.
Here's the REAL story of aspiring internet marketers:
I believe that 90% of people starting out online never really get past the technical hurdles... the site, web design, email auto-responders, and so on.
That's right. I'm saying that 90% FAIL before they ever really get started... BEFORE a dime is deposited into their Paypal accounts.
That's the "Average."
The Above-Average 9% get a site up and running, but it attracts little attention, gets little to no links, and little to no traffic...
...but it all goes unnoticed because Google Analytics isn't installed, the site structure is a mess, and they don't even know they have a problem - let alone how to fix it.
Plus it's a pain to update the site (so the site goes stale) and any leads that visit the site bounce instantly because the site offers no value, there's no sales funnel, and their marketing strategies are stale, with nothing unique to offer.
These two groups of people make up 99% of online entrepreneurs from my experience...
...and these are the SAME group of people who say things like:
"Internet marketing doesn't work!"
"The ONLY people making money online are the gurus."
"The ONLY people making money online are selling info products about how to make money."
Sorry to say, but that's utter B.S.
I'm no guru and I'm in several non-IM niches that are very successful.
And I've got colleagues and clients who are VERY successful in the reiki market, as well as stress, yoga, weight loss, and even the Christian youth ministry market - a real tough market to monetize.
The truth is, it's the VICTIM MINDSET that causes 99% of internet marketers to FAIL.
The mindset of going to battle alone...
...the mindset of scarcity.
...the mindset of zero work and all play.
But what about the ULTIMATE 1%?
Well... they're the true go-getters... the ones who spend hours learning and implementing, tweaking and testing marketing strategies from someone who's been there...
... the ones who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty, but know when they need to get help to get things done.
The reality is that this "1%" is probably closer to 0.1% than 1%, because few actually take action and implement EVERYTHING they should to really get their business off the ground.
Here's my challenge for you:
If you're not in the top 1%, why not?
What's holding you back?
To your success,

Ronnie Nijmeh

Hi Ronnie,
Your info always stands out as top quality, solid knowledge. Thanks. So here's a silly question. What is the actual business plan you would suggest for a beginner? In other words, do you offer or teach a specific step by step process to follow to use PLR to build an authority site? How about an affiliate site? I would really love to hear your suggestions as I know the answers will be grounded in real experience, what works today, and integrity.
Thanks Ronnie. -
I believe that I am about to be in the top 1% in a few month from now.
You are so right Ronnie. It was the technical stuff that was a major headache for me.
I invested money in different website software, from an E-Commerce store to a Social Networking site for my chosen niche market.
But ultimately I ended up choosing good ole' WordPress! WordPress is AMAZING! And can be interactive if you want it to be.
Plus I learned my lessons and am actually turned off by all the hype by those hype created big gurus.
My mentors are the straight shooters. The ones who tell me that your attitude, your passion, and your hard work will make your business successful.
You are one of my newest mentors and I totally respect your honesty and integrity. I respect Alejandro Reyes, Gary Vaynerchuk, Andrew Rondeau, and Joe Williams. All successful marketers that don't give me BS coated in sparkly, hypnotic hype!

For now, I'm at type 1 (90%), trying to go to type 2 (9%), but crazy to learn and have the results of type 3 (1%, 0.1%,...). :-D. Technical hurdles are a pain in the back, but I'm doing my efforts to get past them (or outsource them... :-D). Great article.

Hi Ronnie, just found your blog and like to say I agree with Fabio, going from type 1 to type 3 is the way to go. Having great assistance from you and my mentor KatieFreiling. The challenge is staying focused on actions rather than dithering about planning. Keep up the great work. Next target is to get to type 3. Love the article.

This is an excellent post Ron. I'm new to your work and a new member to your plr.me club and I must say that I'm very impressed with your professionalism, your content, and your graphics. I'm one of the 1%...getting there that is. No excuses. Lots of hard work. And incredible mentors like the Barefoot Executive and Paul Evans. I'm really excited to be a part of your community and even though I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment with all I'm learning from you, I'm still really excited both about what I'm going to be able to offer my clients and also the potential profit building I see with PLR.me. Thanks!
